Big Ten Saturday Recap: Northwestern Dominates Invite; Wisconsin falls to NC State

Northwestern hosted Illinois-Chicago and the University of Chicago and Rutgers and dominated.

Olivia Rosendahl won 3-meter diving (345.40) and 1-meter (286.30). Krystal Lara won the 200 free (1:52.81). Alex Snarski won the 100 back (50.88) and 100 free (46.01). Calypso Sheridan won the 100 breaststroke (1:04.95). Mary Warren won the 50 free (23.37).

Dong Jin Hwang won the 1000 free (9:29.90) and 500 (4:36.51). Liam Gately won the 200 free (1:43.59). Will Hofstadter won the 50 free (21.40) and 200 breast (2:07.37). Tyler Lis won the 200 back (1:51.90). Ryan Tate won the 100 fly (49.54).

Vera Koprivova won the 100 back (57.49) and 200 back (2:02.69) for Rutgers. Frances Stoppa won the 200 fly (2:02.96) and 100 fly (56.87). Clare Lawlor won the 100 free (51.62). Larissa Neilan won the 200 breast (2:20.13). Federica Greco won the 200 IM (2:06.92).

NC State tops Wisconsin

NC State claimed the win in the women’s competition by a score of 202-149 and won, 216-126, on the men’s side.

Wisconsin’s Kevin Pomeroy excelled on the 3-meter springboard, winning with a score of 320.10. Beata Nelson won the 100 butterfly (54.17) and the 200 back (1:54.22).

Michigan State tops Kenyon

The Michigan State women edged Kenyon 151-149 and the men won 159-137.5 on Saturday.

In the 1000 freestyle, Haley Kornburger won in 10:35.39. Racheal Bukowski won the 50 free (23.78) and the 100 free (52.27). Morgan Wellenzohn won 1-meter diving with 284.10 points and 3-meter (315.75). Ellie Roche won the 200 breaststroke (2:21.63). Marie Dickson won the 400 IM (4:34.48).

Nick Leshok won the 100 breaststroke (57.37) and 100 free (46.58). Payton Woods won the 50 free (21.12). Scott Piper won the 200 backstroke (1:53.83) and 400 IM (4:08.11). Michael Schwers won the 100 butterfly (50.59).
