Austria and Romania Announce Squads Bound for Short Course World Championships

Two more swimming federations, both from central Europe, have announced who from their ranks will be headed to Windsor next month for the Short Course World Championships. Austria will send a team of nine swimmers to the meet, while three will represent Austria.

Austria’s squad of five females and four males will consist of Felix Auböck, Johannes Dietrich, Birgit Koschischek, Lena Kreundl, Jakub Maly, Christina Nothdurfter, Caroline Pilhatsch, Christopher Rothbauer and Lisa Zaiser. New national head coach Dario Taraboi will lead the squad.

For Romania, Robert Glinta, Norbert Trandafir and Bogdan Scarlat will be in attendance in Windsor, and they will be coached by Adrian Gherghel.
