Five home events including dual meets with Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana and Wisconsin highlight the 2015-16 Auburn swimming & diving schedule, head coach Brett Hawke announced Wednesday.

“We’re excited to add Arkansas, Florida State and Wisconsin to our schedule for 2015-16,” Hawke said. “It’s great to bring new teams to our schedule while continuing our strong rivalry with Florida and Texas. We’ll continue to strengthen our schedule each year with quality competition that will help us as we prepare for our championship season. ”

For the second straight year, Auburn will kick off the season at Eric Shanteau’s “Swim for Your Life” Lake Swim at Lake Lanier, Ga., on Sept.  19. The annual Orange/Blue intrasquad meet on Sept. 26 will give fans their first chance to see the Tigers in action at their home pool before the regular season begins.

The Tigers begin the season on the road with in-state rival Alabama on October 9 in Tuscaloosa. Auburn swept the Crimson Tide a year ago with the Tiger men posting a 167-133 victory, while the women earned a 174-126 win.

Auburn will host Indiana for the first time in series history on Nov. 7 in its first home dual meet of the season. The Tigers opened the 2014-15 season against the Hoosiers, splitting the road dual meet.

Auburn’s divers will travel to Atlanta for the second-straight season to compete in the Georgia Tech Diving Invite, Nov. 19-21 before rejoining the full squad Dec. 5-7 in Athens, Ga., for the Georgia Invitational. The Tigers’ diving squad will also compete at the Tennessee Diving Invitational, Jan. 3-5, 2016.

After completing Christmas training, Auburn takes to the road to face Texas in Austin on Jan. 7. Arkansas returns to the schedule for the first time since 2011-12 as the Tigers host the Razorbacks for a SEC dual meet on Jan. 15.

The Tigers head to Gainesville for their final road test of the 2015-16 season on Jan. 23 to take on Florida. Auburn closes out its regular season slate on Jan. 29-30 with a home double dual against Florida State and Wisconsin.

Missouri will host the SEC Championships for the first time, Feb. 16-20, at the Missouri Aquatic Center. Auburn’s men will look to improve on their third-place finish from last season and defend their title in the 400 freestyle relay as the quartet of Kyle Darmody, Michael Duderstadt, Arthur Mendes and Jacob Molacek all return. The Tiger women bring back six All-Americans from last year’s squad including seniors Annie Lazor and Jillian Vitarius.

Auburn’s divers will begin their NCAA qualification process on March 10-12 at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships. The Tigers return NCAA participants Carly Scheper and Justin Youtsey for the 2015-16 season.

Georgia Tech will host both NCAA Championships at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. The women’s meet begins March 17-19, while the men’s competition runs March 24-26.
