SANTA CLARA, California, June 22. INITIALLY, it looked like Stanford’s Bobby Bollier would run away with the men’s 200-meter fly title, but Gators’ Sebastien Rousseau had just enough to get his hand on the wall first at the Arena Grand Prix in Santa Clara.

Rousseau had just a bit better of a finish than Bollier to capture the title in 1:58.50 with Bollier finishing second in 1:58.65. NBAC’s Chase Kalisz, who is taking on a tough triple tonight with the fly, backstroke and IM, took third in 1:59.76. Aquazot’s Corey Okubo also broke 2:00 with a fourth-place 1:59.94.

NCAC’s Ben Colley (2:00.38), John Martens (2:00.41), Bulldogs’ Pace Clark (2:02.43), Stanford’s Tom Kremer (2:03.26) and California’s Dane Stassi (2:03.76) put up the rest of the times in the championship heat.

Indiana’s Steve Schmuhl clipped Longhorn’s Clark Smith, 2:01.49 to 2:01.78, for the B final win. California’s Adam Hinshaw finished third in 2:03.02.

NBAC’s Cole Buese (2:03.34), Dynamo’s Mick Litherland (2:03.44), NCAC’s Matt Conway (2:03.84), Club Wolverine’s Dylan Bosch (2:04.23), Terrapin’s Justin Lynch (2:04.42) and Dan Wallace (2:05.16) rounded out the consolation heat.
