Anton Ipsen, Mads Glaesner Clear FINA A Cuts at Danish Open

Anton Ipsen clipped Mads Glaesner in the men’s 400-meter free, 3:48.39 to 3:48.42, as both swimmers cleared the FINA A cut in the process at the 2016 Danish Open.  Joan Casanovas rounded out the top three with a time of 3:52.19.

Josefine Pedersen took down the Dutch Junior Record in the women’s 50-meter breast with a 32.22 before matching time time in finals for the win.  Anouk Elzerman claimed second with a 32.40, while Matilde Schroder snared third in 32.57.

Pernille Blume claimed the women’s 100-meter free in a time of 54.46, just missing the FINA A cut in 54.43. Magdalena Kuras touched second overall in a time of 55.70 with Julie Kepp Jensen finishing third in 55.71.

Magnus Jakupsson touched first in the men’s 100-meter back with a time of 55.46, while Andreas Schiellerup placed second in a time of 55.90.  Andreas Elmgreen closed out the top three in a 57.03.

Katrine Bukh Villesen posted a Dutch Junior Record with a time of 2:14.03.  Helena Rosendahl Bach (2:16.07) and Isabella Sorensen (2:17.23) placed second and third.

Jacob Jorgensen captured the men’s 200-meter breast title with a time of 2:17.18.  Kristoffer Moos finished second in 2:18.37 with Niklas Hedegaard taking third in 2:20.55.

Lisa Steen Duus topped the women’s 1500-meter free title in 16:59.93 with Anna Boutrup taking second in 17:11.37.  Var Eidesgaard picked up third in 17:25.28.
