SANTA CLARA, California, June 20. CALIFORNIA’s Missy Franklin, who is entering the most important summer of her swimming career, certainly doesn’t look like she is feeling any of that addition stress.

During an incredible press conference today at the Arena Grand Prix in Santa Clara, Franklin addressed an entire gauntlet of questions that included thoughts on her pressure-packed summer, what her life has been like at California, and moving out into an apartment for the first time. She’s even learning how to cook, and has dabbled in some salmon recipes.

Franklin also calls Katie Ledecky’s world record unreal.
