We have officially hit November, and that means that it is (almost) time to put on racing suits and swim fast. This is the last weekend before a lot of teams will start to come down in yardage before the mid-season invites before Thanksgiving. This is also the last weekend for the Atlantic Coast Conference before the ACC/B1G challenge at Purdue University November 10-11.

There will only be two conference matchups this weekend with Notre Dame hosting Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, while Miami will host Boston College and Florida Atlantic.

After this weekend, the teams will convene in West Lafayette, Indiana, for the first annual ACC/B1G Challenge.

But before that, (#18/13) Notre Dame will host conference foes (#25/NR) Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech. The Fighting Irish took down in-state rival Purdue last week at home as they shot up five spots in the CSCAA poll last week.

Notre Dame also swept ACC opponent Georgia Tech two weeks ago. The Irish women have had a strong start to their season with wins over Kentucky and Missouri and a tie with Indiana, thanks to junior Abbie Dolan, who is fifth in the ACC thus far in the 200 free, and sophomore Lindsay Stone, who is fourth in the ACC in the 1000 and sixth in the 500.

The Pittsburgh men moved up to #25 in the CSCAA poll after facing a tough fall schedule where they fell to (#21) Florida State, (#17) Georgia Tech and (#16) Virginia. The Panthers have a chance for their first conference win with the unranked Hokies coming to South Bend for a tri-meet.

The Virginia Tech men though have wins over (#10) Ohio State and unranked Penn State, so there will be plenty of quality racing going on this weekend. The Virginia Tech women scored a win over Penn State but dropped to (#15) Ohio State and (#20) Duke.
