After a busy weekend, most Southeastern Conference teams do not have meets at the end of this coming week. However, there are still a few competitive meets to look forward to.

Five Top Storylines

  1. How will SEC swimmers do at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series at Austin? Though not a NCAA meet, many college swimmers will compete in Texas this weekend. With swimmers like Michael Phelps and Missy Franklin at the competition, it will be a good test for NCAA swimmers.
  2. Will the Missouri men continue to impress? This will be the Tigers first competition since a monster showing at the Tennessee Invitational. Strong swimmers like Michael Chadwick, Fabian Schwingenschlogl and Andrew Sansoucie will make the No. 10 Tigers a formidable opponent for Louisiana State.
  3. Who will win the ranked showdown between the No. 19 Missouri women and No. 24 Louisiana State? LSU is coming off a big tri meet win against Kentucky and Virginia Tech and are led by Kara Kopcso, while the Missouri Tigers will look for strong showings from their dominant breaststroke and backstroke core.
  4. Can the South Carolina women avenge their recent loss? The Gamecocks fell to Duke 187-113 last weekend, and look to get back on track against Vanderbilt. South Carolina is still looking for its first win of the season. The Vanderbilt and South Carolina men’s teams will not compete in this dual meet.
  5. How will Auburn rebound from its loss against Texas? The Tigers should have no trouble beating Arkansas and will look to regain some confidence this coming weekend.
