After a few weeks of winter break and some intense training, a few teams from the PAC 12 will be back in action, starting Friday January 8. The nationally ranked Stanford (5) men’s team and and the nationally ranked Arizona women (7) are among the conference teams competing this weekend.

Top Stories:

  1. Will Stanford freshmen lead the way against University of the Pacific at home on Friday? As No. 5 Stanford takes on unranked University of the Pacific, freshmen Abrahm DeVine, Cole Cogswell, and Ryan Dudzinski could be key components in this meet along with some veteran Cardinals. All three men had impressive showings at the A3 Performance Invite back in November.
  2. How will the quad meet between Oregon State, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, and New Mexico State shake out? No. 7 Arizona Wildcat women host a quad meet on Friday and are expected to take the meet, but where will the other schools fall?
  3. In a battle of ranked teams, the No. 4 USC Trojans host No. 16 University of Wisconsin Badgers on Tuesday January, 12. This is the only meet between two nationally ranked teams for the PAC 12 this coming week and should be an exciting matchup with some close races.
  4. How will training camps over the winter break affect swims? After a tough few weeks of winter training camps, fast swims could be a toss up for some of these athletes.
