21st Annual “Swim With Mike” Is This Saturday at USC

LOS ANGELES, April 19. THE 21st annual "Swim With Mike" swim-a-thon will be held this Saturday, April 21, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the McDonald's Olympic Swim Stadium on the campus of the Univerity of Southern California.

The swim will benefit USC's Physically-Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund.

"Swim with Mike" is the only philanthropic event of its kind. Its purpose is to help pave the way for individuals to overcome their tragedies and strive for a successful and goal-oriented future. the swim will bring together USC student organizations, leaders, and athletes to swim toward the goal of surpassing last year'ws record amount raised: $400,000.

Past guest participants have included former Presidents Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan, Olympians Greg Louganis and Lenny Krayzelburg, actress Betty White, baseball manager Tommy lasorda and many others.

Current scholarship recipients Chris Cantwell, Jamie Danskin, Kermal Demirciler, Nick Enriquez, Mark Fuglevand, Chad Hendrickson, Jason Hetzer, David Lupash, Allison Pittman and John Siciliano will be in attendance.
