2022 Eastern States Clinic Will Feature Trio Of Olympic Head Coaches; Scheduled For Oct. 1-2

The Eastern States Swim Clinic, annually regarded as one of the premier opportunities to learning from coaching greats, is rapidly approaching. The clinic will be held Oct. 1-2 at the Crowne Plaza in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This year’s lineup of speakers features a star-studded cast and will undoubtedly provide attendees with new information, ideas, and insights.

The speaker lineup features Eddie Reese, Bob Bowman, Dave Durden and Carol Capitani, all among the most-respected coaches in the world. Reese, Bowman and Durden have all served as head coached of the United States Olympic Team, while Capitani has rebuilt the University of Texas into a top-three program at the NCAA level. Last March, Capitani guided the Longhorns to a runnerup finish at NCAAs. Reese is an International Swimming Hall of Fame inductee while Durden guided Cal to its latest NCAA title last spring. Bowman, meanwhile, has led a turnaround at Arizona State University and is the man who mentored the career of Michael Phelps.

In addition to the elite coaches who will appear at the clinic just outside of Philadelphia, Olympic medalists and one-time Team USA stalwarts Elizabeth Beisel and Josh Davis will be in attendance. Beisel and Davis will work with swimmers who register during a pair of pool sessions, and will also speak during the two-day clinic.
