2021 TYR Pro Swim Series San Antonio Psych Sheet Released: Many National Team Members Set to Attend

USA Swimming has released the psych sheet for the first major swim meet of 2021 in the United States as the TYR Pro Swim Series will be held in San Antonio and Richmond January 14 – 17, 2021. Individual Olympic gold medalists Ryan Murphy and Lilly King will be in attendance next weekend in San Antonio as individual Olympic medalists Kathleen Baker and Chase Kalisz will also be making their 2021 racing debuts in Texas.

Many of the best undergrads in the area will also be at the meet including Texas freshman Carson Foster and Texas A&M junior Shaine Casas. The meet will also feature backstroke world record holder Regan Smith, who is the top seed in four events. Zane Grothe is the top seed in the three distance freestyle events.

The prelims sessions will be split into men’s and women’s sessions, with the women going at 9 a.m. and the men going at 11:30 a.m. Finals will all be in one session and will begin at 6 p.m. with only two heats swimming at night. The meet will be streamed live on the Olympic Channel at 7 p.m. Eastern standard time on January 15, 16 and 17.
