The 2020 Pac-12 Women’s Championships continued on Friday with a full session from Federal Way, Washington.
Stanford leads the meet and had a 1-2-3 seeded finish in the 400 IM on Friday. The rest of the teams are trying to keep pace.

Pac-12 Women’s Championships: 400 IM
Stanford’s Brooke Forde took the top seed in the 400 IM to kick off the morning. The junior finished in 4:06.54 to hold off teammate Allie Szekely, who touched in 4:06.80.
The Cardinal took the top three seeds as Hannah Kukugugya took the third see din 4:11.84.
Cal’s Alicia Wilson took the fourth seed in 4:11.96, followed by Arizona State’s Nora Deleske (4:12.43), Stanford’s Katie Glavinovich (4:12.55), Utah’s Charity Pittard (4:13.41) and UCLA’s Ella Kirschke (4:14.00).

Pac-12 Women’s Championships: 100 Butterfly
USC’s Louise Hansson but together a strong 100 butterfly race in prelims to take the top seed heading into finals. She touched the wall in 50.45, not far off of her seed time of 50.05.
Cal’s Izzy Ivey took the second seed in 51.92, ahead of USC’s Jemma Schlicht (52.17).
Stanford’s Emma Wheal took the fourth seed in 52.30, followed by teammate Amalie Fackenthal (52.52), UCLA’s Amy Okada (52.80), Cal’s Maddie Murphy (52.82) and USC’s Catherine Sanchez (52.92).

Pac-12 Women’s Championships: 200 Free
Stanford’s Katie Drabot narrowly earned the top seed in the 200 free. The senior touched the wall in 1:44.30, just seven hundredths of a second ahead of Cal’s Robin Neumann (1:44.37).
Arizona State’s Cierra Runge (1:44.67) and Emma Nordin (1:44.87) were not far off the pace.
USC’s Tatum Wade took the fifth seed in 1:44.95, followed by Arizona State’s Erica Laning (1:45.04, Stanford’s Morgan Tankersley (1:45.06) and Arizona’s Kristen Jacobsen (1:45.45).

Pac-12 Women’s Championships: 100 Breast
Stanford sophomore Allie Raab took the top seed in the 100 breast, dropping nearly a second from her seed time to finish in 59.34.
Arizona State’s Silja Kansakoski took the second seed in 59.90, while Cal’s Ema Rajic was third in 1:00.06.
UCLA’s Claire Grover took the fourth seed in 1:00.18, followed by USC’s Isa Odgers (1:00.42), Stanford’s Zoe Bartel (1:00.56), Arizona’s Ellie Jew (1:00.57) and UCLA’s Rachel Rhee (1:00.57).

Pac-12 Women’s Championships: 100 Back
Cal senior Keaton Blovad took the top seed in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 51.74.
The Golden Bears have the top two seeds as Izzy Ivey was second in 51.80. Ivey also competed in the 100 butterfly and is doing the same double she did at last year’s conference championship meet as well as the NCAA Championships.
Stanford’s Lucie Nordmann took the third seed in 52.23, followed by Arizona’s Aria Bernal (52.33), Stanford’s Erin Voss (52.71) and Alex Crisera (52.73), Utah’s Audrey Reimer (53.01) and Arizona State’s Chloe Kennedy Isleta (53.11).
