2019 Women’s Pac-12 Championship Day 4 Prelims: Stanford Remains Strong Heading Into Finals

USC-400-Medley-Relay-Pac-12

Stanford leads the 2019 Women’s Pac-12 Championship by nearly 200 points heading into day four of the meet, followed by Cal in second and USC in third.

Stanford is by no means slacking off with their line-up this morning despite their huge lead. Swimmers Taylor Ruck, Ella Eastin, Erin Voss, and Lucie Nordmann hold the top four spots heading into the 200 back.

Abbey Weitzeil of Cal is seeded to win the 100 free by over a second in prelims, but USC swimmer Marta Ciesla and Cal swimmer Robin Neumann aren’t out of the question for who will be seeded first going into finals.

The 200 breast should be a close race, with USC’s Riley Scott, Stanford’s Zoe Bartel, and USC’s Maggie Aroesty all seeded within a second of each other.

The 200 fly will be the race to watch this morning as the new NCAA record holder of the 100 fly, Louise Hansson of USC, currently holds the top seed.
