2019 Women’s Pac-12 Championship Day 3 Prelims: Cal and Stanford Pack Finals
Stanford leads by over 100 points going into the third day of the 2019 Women’s Pac-12 Championships. Cal goes into today seeded second with ASU in third.
This morning should get off to a strong start with Stanford swimmers, Ella Eastin, Brooke Forde and Allie Szekely currently holding the top three seeds in the 400 IM.
Another race to watch will be USC’s Louise Hansson in the 100 fly, as she is seeded first by nearly three seconds.
The 200 free should be a close race because the top eight swimmers are all within roughly two seconds of each other, with Robin Neumann currently holding the top seed with a time of 1:43.38.
ASU swimmer Silja Kansakoski and Stanford swimmer Zoe Bartel are vying to get under the one minute mark this morning in their 100 breast with top seed Riley Scott of USC.

Brooke Forde of Stanford slid into first place and scored an NCAA A cut in the 400 IM with a time of 4:03.36.
Followed closely in second was Stanford’s Ella Eastin with a time of 4:03.87.
Stanford represented yet again with swimmer Allie Szekely placing third with a time of 4:05.93.
In fourth was Sarah Darcel of Cal with a time of 4:08.99, in fifth was Jordan Anderson of Utah with a time of 4:09.13, in sixth was Leah Stevens of Stanford with a time of 4:09.36, in seventh was Hannah Kukurugya of Stanford with a time of 4:11.32, and in eighth was Nora Deleske of ASU with a time of 4:12.86.

Following shortly behind were Cal swimmers Katie McLaughlin with a time of 50.69 and Izzy Ivey with a time of 51.47.
In fourth was Mackenzie Rumrill of Arizona with a time of 51.80, in fifth place was Caitlin Tycz of USC with a time of 52.19, in sixth was Aryanna Fernandes of Utah with a time of 52.48, in seventh was Madison Wright of USC with a time of 52.58, and in eighth was Jemma Schlicht of USC with a time of 52.61.

Cal showed up this morning in the 200 free claiming the top three seeds of the 200 free heading into tonights finals.
Abbey Weitzeil of Cal lands the top seed and an NCAA A cut in the 200 free with a time of 1:42.45.
Coming in second was Cal swimmer Robin Neumann with a time of 1:43.28.
Following right behind and touching in third was Cal’s Katie McLaughlin with a time of 1:43.34.
In fourth was Lauren Pitzer of Stanford with a time of 1:43.99, in fifth was Cierra Runge of ASU with a time of 1:44.20, in sixth was Morgan Tankersley of Stanford with a time of 1:44.59, in seventh was Katie Drabot of Stanford with a time of 1:44.83, and in eighth was Izzy Ivey of Cal with a time of 1:44.97.

The top five seeds of the 100 breaststroke, Silja Kansakoski of ASU, Claire Grover of UCLA, Allie Raab of Stanford, Kirsten Vose of USC, and Riley Scott of USC, all broke the minute barrier in this mornings prelims.
This included a tie for third between Stanford swimmer Allie Raab and USC swimmer Kirsten Vose with a time of 59.89.
In first was Silja Kansakoski of ASU with a time of 59.41, in second was Claire Grover of UCLA with a time of 59.54, tied for third was Allie Raab of Stanford and Kirsten Vose of USC with a time of 59.89, in fifth was Riley Scott of USC with a time of 59.94, in sixth was Mallory Korenwinder of Arizona with a time of 1:00:02, in seventh was Zoe Bartel of Stanford with a time of 1:00.07, and in eighth was Grace Zhao of Stanford with a time of 1:00.29.
