2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming Championships: Saturday Morning Heat Sheets

The final morning of the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships will be an intense matchup between Pac-12 rivals Cal and Stanford. The Golden Bears have 28.5 point lead over the Cardinal heading into the final day with the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and 400 free relay on the heat sheets for tomorrow.

Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. EST.

The heats of the 1650 will also be tomorrow about two hours before the finals will start. Wisconsin’s Beata Nelson is the top seed in the 200 back for tomorrow where she will go for her third win of the meet. Cal’s Abbey Weitzeil is the top seed in a stacked 100 free field that includes Louisville’s Mallory Comerford, Michigan’s Siobhan Haughey and Tennessee’s Erika Brown.

Indiana’s Lilly King is going for her eighth NCAA title in the 200 breaststroke where she is the heavy favorite ahead of Texas A&M’s Anna Belousova and Sydney Pickrem. USC’s Louise Hansson is the top seed in the 200 fly after winning the 100 fly on Friday night with the fastest time of all-time.

To make it even more interesting, Cal and Stanford will be next to each other in the 400 free relay heats.
