Heat sheets for the final night of the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships have been posted with the team race intensifying with one final session left. Cal holds a slim lead over Stanford and the Cardinal had an impressive morning with 5 A-Finals and 5 B-Finals advancing to tonight. Cal had 4 A-Finals and 3 B-Finals advance to tonight’s finals.

Wisconsin’s Beata Nelson is the top seed in the 200 back where she is going for her third win of the meet after wining the 200 IM and 100 back already. Louisville’s Mallory Comerford is the top seed in the 100 free where she is looking to win her first title in that event. Comerford won the 200 free on Friday night.

Indiana senior Lilly King is going for her fourth straight 200 breast crown on the last night. If she wins the 200, she will be the first woman in Division I to ever win all eight breaststroke titles in her career.

Stanford senior Ella Eastin is looking for her third 200 fly title as well as a third straight team title for the Cardinal.

Cal rested Abbey Weitzeil on the 400 free relay this morning after Weitzeil appeared to injure her arm after the 200 medley relay. She swam this morning with her elbow wrapped and was still able to get into the 100 free A-Final. Michigan is the top seed in the 400 free relay as the Wolverines are looking for their second relay win in school history.
