2017 NCSA Junior National Championships: Day 3 Prelims Heat Sheets
The heat sheets for the day three prelims session of the 2017 NCSA Junior National Championships have been posted.
On the women’s side, a number of tonight’s top finalists will look to claim more spots in tomorrow’s A finals. After competing in two events tonight, Marlins of Raleigh’s Madison Homovich will seek to defend her top seed in the 400 IM, as well as find her way into the 200 freestyle championship final. Long Island’s Margaret Aroesty will have a chance to claim her second breaststroke event of the meet. The women will compete in the 200 freestyle, 50 breaststroke, 400 IM, 50 butterfly, and 400 freestyle relay.
For the men, Nation’s Capital’s Samuel Pomajevich will compete in three events (200 freestyle, 400 IM, 50 butterfly) and will attempt to follow up his dominant performance tonight with another win. After winning by over two seconds in the 100 breaststroke, Penn Charter’s Reece Whitley looks to stay on top in the 50 breaststroke. The men will also compete in the 200 freestyle, 50 breaststroke, 400 IM, 50 butterfly, and 400 freestyle relay.
All the action will begin at 8:30 A.M. EST.
