The last session of the 2017 NCAA DI Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships is already here, as Stanford is set up for its first national title since 1998. It would be the first title for Greg Meehan as a head coach, as he was a part of a couple of titles at Cal when he was an assistant to Dave Durden.

Cal and Texas A&M are solidly in second and third and the big race tonight will be between Texas and Georgia for fourth place. Only the top four schools receive team trophies so those teams will be battling back and forth all night.

Katie Ledecky will be looking for an American Record and a possible chance to be the first woman in history to dip under 15 minutes in the 1650. Leah Smith will also be looking to get close to that 15 minute barrier. Kathleen Baker will be looking for her third win of the meet in the 200 back and Lilly King will be looking to defend her title in the 200 breast.

Ella Eastin and Simone Manuel are also the top seeds in their events tonight.

It will be an exciting night of swimming and make sure to follow Swimming World for all the latest news and updates regarding the events tonight.
