Night three of the 2017 NCAA D1 Women’s Swim & Dive Championships proved to be one of the most exciting sessions yet as another American record fell and a stunning tie occurred in the 200 free.

The individual events kicked off with an emotionally-charged finish in the 400 IM as Ella Eastin of Stanford took down teammate Katie Ledecky’s American record. Ledecky made her night three appearance in the 200 free where she and Louisville’s Mallory Comerford tied for first.
