President’s Athletic Conference Diving Preliminaries

The President’s Athletic Conference Championship kicked off tonight with the preliminaries in the women’s 1-meter diving and men’s 3-meter diving.

In the women’s 1-meter Senior Alexis Rectenwald of Chatham University was first with a point total of 190.30. She was followed by teammate Emily Hinson, a junior, who racked up a score of 180.65. Mia Judulang of Bethany College was third with 167.05.

On the men’s 3-meter Josh Vasko, a junior from Washington and Jefferson College set himself up with an impressive total of 163.75. In second, Carlos Barrett of Westminster College just out edged Isaac Penascino, a freshman from Washington and Jefferson College with a score of 141.30 to Penascino’s 140.90.

The first day of swimming will take off tomorrow, with prelims scheduled to begin at 10 am.
