#13 Texas Women Close Dual-Meet Season With Loss At #1 Stanford

From UT – STANFORD, CA – The No. 13 University of Texas women’s swimming and diving team fell to Stanford, 141-93, in the Longhorns’ final dual meet of the season, Saturday afternoon at the deGuerre Pool. The Longhorns finish the dual-meet season at 3-6, while Stanford remains undefeated at 6-0.

The Longhorns were led by freshman Colleen Lanné (Tucson, Ariz.), who placed first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.47) to meet her third NCAA consideration time this year. Her effort ranks as the second-fastest time in the Big 12 Conference this season. Lanné also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (52.16).
