Juniors Qualifier Abigail Perry Selects Ohio State

NEW COMMIT: The Ohio State University has received a new verbal commitment for the 2025-26 season and beyond, this time from Junior National qualifier Abigail Perry of Monument, Colorado.

She will join Taya HutchisonCarrie Furbee and KK LeBlanc as a member of the Buckeyes’ Class of 2029.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I’m beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to THE Ohio State University to continue my athletic and academic career ! I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches for supporting and believing in me throughout this journey. A special thanks to the Coaches at OSU for this amazing opportunity!! GO BUCKS”

Perry trains year-round with Falfins Swimming and earned three top-8 finishes at Phoenix Sectionals to wrap up the short course season, after placing 23rd in the 200 free at Juniors West. She was the 200m free runner-up at Boise Sectionals last summer, also taking third in the 400m free with four other top-10 finishes.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 23.32
  • 100 free – 50.76
  • 200 free – 1:48.11
  • 500 free – 4:52.13

Currently a junior at Lewis Palmer High School, Perry finished second in the 200 free and fourth in the 50 free at the 2023 Colorado 5A State Championships.
