Emily Hamill, Elizabeth Nawrocki To Swim For Georgia In 2025

NEW COMMITS: The University of Georgia has scored a pair of verbal commitments for the 2025-26 season and beyond from Emily Hamill of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and Elizabeth Nawrocki of Aurora, Illinois.

They will join Hayden Hollingsworth, Maeve EckermanKennedi Dobson and Hailey Dopson in Athens as a member of the Bulldogs’ Class of 2029.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at the University of Georgia! I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates, coaches, and everyone who has helped me get to this point. GO DAWGS 🐶!!!”

Hamill does her club swimming with Germantown Academy Aquatic and earned silver in the 100m back and bronze in the 200m back at Providence Sectionals back in March. She was a four-time finalist at Juniors East in December where her highest finish was a 16th-place showing in the 200 back.

Her best times include:

  • 200 back – 1:53.89
  • 100 back – 53.19
  • 200 free – 1:47.75
  • 100 free – 50.13

Currently a junior at Germantown Academy, Hamill won the 200 free and 500 free at the 2024 Eastern Interscholastic Championships. She won the 100 free during her sophomore season.

Elizabeth Nawrocki

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am very excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Georgia. I want to thank my family, friends coaches and teammates for supporting me during this process. GO DAWGS”

An Olympic Trials qualifier, Nawrocki does her club swimming with Academy Bullets Swim Club and won the 100m breast at the NCSA Spring Championships where she also earned bronze in the 50m breast and 200m breast. She also earned gold in the 100m breast at the NCSA Summer Championships.

Her best times include:

  • 100 breast – 1:01.35
  • 200 breast – 2:12.76
  • 200 IM – 2:05.00

A rising senior at Rosary High School, Nawrocki won the 100 breast and took fifth in the 200 IM at the 2024 Illinois State Championships. She finished fourth and 10th, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.
