US Paralympic Swim Team Named for World Champs

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO., Sept. 6. U.S. Paralympics announced Thursday, September 5, the members of its 2002 National Swimming Team that will compete at the
International Paralympic Committee's Swimming World Championships December 5-18 in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

Athletes were selected based on their competitiveness within the International Paralympic Committee's world
rankings. The coaching staff for the championships was named in July; the medical and support staff will be named at a later date.

U.S. Paralympics is a division of the U.S. Olympic Committee and is dedicated to become the world leader in the Paralympic sports movement and promoting excellence in the lives of persons with physical disabilities.
