PHOENIX, Arizona, October 1. ARIZONA senior Ellyn Baumgardner got a big surprise recently when she was named to the USA short course world championship team, and she talks about preparing for the meet on today's edition of The Morning Swim Show.

Baumgardner, who will swim the sprint breaststrokes in Turkey, will also have to deal with a double taper in December, resting first for the annual December taper meet for the University of Arizona's college team, and the world championships two weeks later. She talks about why being named to the world team was a surprise, and what is going on at Arizona to have such great success among the breaststroke crew.
