The Morning Swim Show, Aug. 16, 2010: Ashley Callus Discusses the 50 Freestyle at Pan Pacs

PHOENIX, Arizona, August 3. THREE-time Olympian Ashley Callus kicks off our three-day visit on The Morning Swim Show with members of the Australian team attending the Pan Pacific championships this week.

Callus is in Irvine just to swim the 50 freestyle, and he talks about his strengths in the event and what it will take to earn a medal this week. He also talks about his reasons for not making firm plans to train for the 2012 Olympics, how he felt about getting fourth in the 50 free in Beijing and how the gold medal in the 400 free relay in the 2000 Olympics ranks in his swimming career.
