WFLA HALLOWEEN INVITATIONAL
It’s getting toward Halloween time! The West Florida Lightning Aquatics celebrated a little early with their Halloween Invitational Oct. 19-21 in Largo.

CAMPEONATO INTERCLUB
The Campeonato Interclub was held Oct. 19-21 at the Piscina Eileen Coparropa pool in Panama.

NORAC FALL INVITATIONAL
The Northumberland Aquatic Club hosted its Fall Invitational Oct. 20 at the Jack Buger Sports Complex in Port Hope, Ontario, Canada.

TIME TRIALS
The Crawley Swim Club held a time trials meet for their swimmers Oct. 20 just south of London. The event ran smoothly with an excellent atmosphere, and was well attended.

YMCA
YSSC YMCA INVITATIONAL AND DUAL MEET
Y-Spartaquatics held a dual meet Oct. 20 and an invitational meet Oct. 21, both in Duncan, S.C. Partipating along with the Y-Spartaquatics were the YMCA of Western North Carolina and YMCA Seahorse Swim Team, also from North Carolina.

WHEATON VS. BRANDEIS
Competing for the first time since the 2009-10 season–and at their first home meet in Waltham, Mass., since 2008–the Brandeis Judges lost to the Wheaton Lyons in dual meet action. The Brandeis men lost to Wheaton, 159-97; the women’s race was closer, with the Judges scoring 120 points to Wheaton’s 163.

DAVIDSON VS. EAST CAROLINA
The East Carolina Pirates met the Davidson Wildcats in dual meet competition Oct. 20 at East Carolina’s home pool in Greenville, N.C. The Pirates opened their season with victories on both the men’s and women’s side. The ECU women racked up 185 points to Davidson’s 107; and the men totaled 186 points, with Davidson picking up 100.

FLORIDA VS. GEORGIA
The Lady Bulldogs scored their 79th straight home victory with a 188-110 triumph over the University of Florida Lady Gators Oct. 25 in Athens, Ga. The Lady Bulldogs now have a 3-0 record overall and 2-0 in the SEC (Southeastern Conference). Georgia’s men weren’t as fortunate, losing to the Gators 192-104. The Gators are now 1-1 overall and 0-1 in SEC action.
