GREENSBORO- Stanford diving coach Patrick Jeffrey has helped reboot Kassidy Cook’s diving career. Two years ago, she dislocated her shoulder. Jeffrey was brought on as head diving coach right around that time and has been able support her as she worked through the recovery process.

Cook finished second in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter this weekend. Cook competes in the platform event on the final day of NCAAs. For Cook, NCAAs is a stepping stone to World Championships this summer.

Coach Jeffrey chats with Swimming World about helping injured athletes rebuild confidence, coming in as a freshman coach with a great group of divers and bonding with the team during his time with Stanford.
