PHOENIX, Arizona, October 1. ON today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show open water swimmer Paul Duffield talks about his recent accomplishment as the first person to officially register a swim across the U.S.-Canada border.

Duffield talks about the approval process to make sure he fulfilled the border crossing requirements, the extra training need to complete the swim across Osoyoos Lake and the physical pain he endured during the five-hour swim. He also talks about being the only Canadian to accomplish an ice water swim and how swimming in the open water kindled his passion for the sport.
