Open Water Swimming In Texas

NORTH TEXAS. February 18. MARSHALL King recently launched NTX Open H2O to promote open water swimming in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. "The NTX Open H2O website is non-profit. I am seeking only to publicize the sport I love and to create more opportunities for training and racing."

King, a former ultra-walker and ultra-runner, was injured and discovered open water swimming while undergoing physical therapy. "I ran less and began swimming as low-impact cross training. I discovered that I really enjoyed swimming, and a new interest was born."
