U.S. swimmer Lenny Krayzelburg is among three finalists for the prestigious United States Olympic Committee SportsMan of the Year award. The other two finalists are cyclist Lance Armstrong and moguls skier Jonny Moseley.
Lenny Krayzelburg became the first man since 1986 and the first American ever to sweep the 100m and 200m backstroke events at the World Championships in Perth, Australia, in January. He also became the first American man since Jesse Vassallo (1978) to win two individual titles at the World Championships.
The SportsMan of the Year will be announced at the U.S. Olympic Awards Dinner in Indianapolis on Dec. 16.
