GREENSBORO- Janet Hu’s first ever day one at NCAAs will be frozen in her memory for years to come. Hu swam the fly leg of the 400 medley relay last night, which teammate Simone Manuel anchored with the fastest relay split ever to win the event. Three of the four relay members were freshman, so this relay may become Stanford’s baby.

Hu chats with Swimming World about moving on after a disappointing 50 free, her swift 51.9 100 fly this morning, and experiencing D-1 NCAAs for the first time.
