Reese, now in his 37th season at Texas, talked about a myriad of topics, including the potential for fast swimming at this Friday’s quad meet featuring Michigan, Indiana and Louisville. October is a very hard month of training for his team, so difficult that his athletes have renamed the month “Rocktober.” He highlights a few athletes who train harder than he asks them to train and why giving sprinters a set of repeat 300s can help them be better in the shorter distances.
