Commit Analytics recently launched its web application for swim programs at www.commitswimming.com. The platform allows coaches to write and analyze their workouts. Commit is offering a 30 day free trial (no credit card required) for users of its platform.

With Commit’s software, coaches are able to write practices for multiple teams and training groups quickly. With an easy to use design, Commit’s product solves the user experience problem in the swimming world that has kept coaches writing practices with paper and pencil for decades. “We have heard consistent feedback from the swimming community that a simple solution for writing and analyzing workouts is needed,” said Dan Dingman, one of Commit’s three co-founders.

Coaches on Commit’s platform have a personal dashboard that provides insights and shows training trends through useful graphs. Users can slice and dice their training data by groups, intensity levels, strokes, and training types. “Beta users begged for a dashboard with infinite possibilities and we delivered”, said Dingman.

In just 10 weeks, Commit Swimming went from idea to reality, and the team isn’t stopping development of their product. Dingman hints, “Our team’s expertise is in machine learning. There is a lot of room for the sport of swimming to leverage data analytics to optimize training for both the team and the individual”. With tons of features in the pipeline rolling out in 2015, the founders remain committed (no pun intended) to a first class experience for the swimming community.

With that in mind, for the next 30 days any coach can upload their team’s historical practices into the platform to gain immediate insights from their own data. To make this happen, go to www.commitswimming.com, sign up for the free trial, and click the “Upload Practice History” button.
