One day after the NCAA announced that several championships, including the 2021 women’s DI swimming championships, will return to North Carolina after the state repealed the controversial HB2 (the so-called “bathroom bill”), the ACC has followed suit.

The women’s and men’s ACC swimming & diving championships will be returning to Greensboro, N.C., beginning next season, with the women’s meet scheduled for Feb. 14-17 and the men’s for Feb. 21-24.

The Greensboro Aquatic Center previously hosted both ACC championships in 2013, 2014 and 2016, and now the meet is scheduled to be there every year through 2023.

The NC State men have won three straight ACC championships, while the Wolfpack women ended Virginia’s nine-year winning streak at this year’s meet, held in Atlanta after being relocated from Greensboro.
