European Short-Course Swimming Championships: Brembilla Breaks European Record -- December 13, 1998

SHEFFIELD, England - Emiliano Brembilla of Italy broke the short-course European record in the 400m freestyle. Brembilla's time of 3:40.45 lowered the 3:40.58 mark set by Germany's Joerg Hoffmann in Paris on February 8, 1997.
