Iraqis Back in the Swim -- June 25, 2003

BAGHDAD, June 25. THE Iraqi national swim team is back in the Olympic Training Center pool in Baghdad, after having been locked out by the US military. the team is training for next month's World Championships in Barcelona.

The team was reinstated after having trained for three weeks in the Tigris River when a formal agreement was reached between US military officials and the Iraqi national team coach.

The US army had been using the pool as a recreation center for American troops.
