Coach Ray Bray Retires, Coached Three Olympians -- May 18, 2003

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 18. RAY Bray, who has coached his children and grandchildren in swimming at
Fountain Valley High, announced his retirement today after 35 years at the school.

Bray, 62, who took over at Fountain Valley in 1969, coached Olympians Shirley and Jack Babashoff as well as Gary Hall Sr. in 1968 at Garden Grove Rancho Alamitos, where he began his coaching career.
