VIENNA, Austria, March 13. AUSTRIA'S top female and male swimmers -- Mirna Jukic and Maxim Podoprigora -- were honored today in a ceremony in Vienna.

Jukic and Podoprigora each received the "City of Vienna Sport Prize" along with 7,300 Euros, for their outstanding performances in the last year.

Jukic, 16, won gold in the women's 200m breaststroke at the European Championships in Berlin, only weeks after winning the European Junior title.

Podoprigora set a European record of 2:06.95 in the men's 200m breaststroke at the World Cup short course meet in Berlin and won silver in that event at the Short Course Europeans in Riesa, Germany.
