USA Swimming Sectionals, Oklahoma City: Final Night Complete

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, March 7. THE long course meter competition at the USA Swimming Sectionals held in Oklahoma City came to a close with the final night of action.

Hawg's Jenny Holtzen cruised to victory in the women's 1500 free with a time of 17:24.94. Kansas City Blazer Monica Dudley (17:33.07) took second, while teammate Mackenna Rife placed third in 17:38.18. KCB's Ben Bravence topped the men's 1500 free in 16:02.88, while Tsunami's Ty Fowler touched second in 16:09.46. Rockwood's Garin Marlow earned third in 16:34.00.

Rockwood's Samantha Wright snatched the women's 200 back in 2:21.09, while Topeka's Sammie Schurig touched second in 2:23.09. Kansas City Blazer Katt Sickle claimed third in 2:23.15. KCB's Seth Musser grabbed the men's 200 back in 2:10.35, while Chesapeake's Narayan Naik picked up second in 2:10.92. Kansas City Blazer Chris Hearl touched third in 2:12.52.

Shannon Vreeland of KCB snared the women's 100 free title in 57.14. Topeka's Emily Dicus placed second in 57.84, while Rockwood's Lauren Votava finished third in 58.31. Rockwood's Matt Donch hit the wall in 52.20 to win the men's 100 free. CSP's Evan Noble pocketed second in 52.90, while Jenks Trojan Jacob Pearce snatched third in 53.27.

Aquahawk Emma Reaney topped the women's 200 fly in 2:18.99. Dolphin Jessie Garrison took second in 2:21.11, while Kansas City Blazer Natalie Morris rounded out the top three in 2:23.75. Noble won another podium spot with a first-place 2:08.51 in the men's 200 fly. King finished second in 2:08.97, while Rogers placed third in 2:11.41.
