ORLANDO, Florida, November 14. AT the Florida State High School 1A Championships, The Bolles School smacked the national high school record in the boys 200-yard medley relay.

The team of Ryan Murphy (23.32), Sergio Lujan Rivera (24.37), Timmy Romano (22.37) and Tommy Gutman (19.73) completed the sprint medley relay in 1:29.79.

November 15, 2009 One question: Were they wearing the new suits?
Submitted by: aquatiger
November 15, 2009 The NFHS instituted the 2010 suit rules starting for all high school meets in the U.S. as of August or September or something close to that time period.

I am not 100 percent certain, as I wasn't there, but I'm pretty sure all high school times this year will be swum according to the FINA rules starting Jan. 1, 2010.

November 24, 2009 Cbley check the article. New suit rules are in effect in highschool for all of this season. In fact, USA swimming went ahead and made them mandatory for this winter club season too.
