Eamon Sullivan Discusses Swimming and Cooking; Arizona High School Junior Wins Performance of the Week on The Morning Swim Show, Nov. 3, 2009 -- November 3, 2009

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 3. OLYMPIC medalist and former world record holder Eamon Sullivan makes his first appearance on The Morning Swim Show to talk about swimming in 2009, and an Arizona freestyler wins our Performance of the Week honor.

In addition to talking about his emergency appendectomy while training in Flagstaff, Arizona, Sullivan tells who he thinks had the best year in the pool and how the field of sprinters looks in the years leading up to the 2012 Olympics. He also talks about his rise in the swimming ranks, from watching the 2000 Olympics in Australia and almost making the team in 2004. Our Performance of the Week goes to the fastest 200 freestyler the state of Arizona has seen at the state championships, who swam an amazing time just a few weeks after he broke one of his ankles.
