LAUSANNE, Switzerland, April 6. FINA has appointed Colorado Time Systems as the Official Time-keeper for the 3rd edition of the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships to be staged in Lima, Peru in summer 2011, as well as for the 4th edition in 2013 at a venue still to be decided.

Colorado Time Systems will provide the comprehensive timing and results service for all the competitions at these Championships.

"The professionalism and experience of Colorado Time Systems will bring a great benefit to the Championships' organizers and I am sure that swimmers, coaches and all participants in these competitions will benefit from Colorado Time Systems services," considered FINA President Mustapha Larfaoui.

The FINA World Junior Swimming Championships provide a platform for the swimming stars of tomorrow to experience world class competition.

"Colorado Time Systems is pleased to work in conjunction with FINA over the next five years to enhance the championship experience for the athletes, organizers, and spectators. This is an ideal venue to attract more young athletes to participate in aquatic sports," said Dr. Anita Sayed, President & CEO of Colorado Time Systems.

The first two editions of this recently established FINA event were held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2006 and Monterrey, Mexico in 2008. Following a recent FINA decision, these championships will be held from now on in odd years, starting with the 2011 edition in Lima (PER).
