NCAA Men's Division I Championships: Purdue's David Boudia Wins Second Diving Title With Tower Triumph -- March 28, 2009

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, March 28. PURDUE's David Boudia put together a meet-record effort to win his second diving title in as many nights.

After winning the three-meter last night, Boudia collected 530.45 points to win the platform event. Texas' Drew Livingston finished second with 493.20, which also broke the meet record of 478.20 set by Sean Moore last year. The victory is Purdue's first in the event and third in program history.


Miami's Reuben Ross wound up third with 452.75 points.

Auburn went into the final event with 486 points, while Texas stood second with 453 points. Stanford (430.5), California (318) and Florida (300) made up the top five.
