COLLEGE STATION, Texas, March 20. ALWAYS a bridesmaid…finally a bride. That must have been the feeling for Indiana's Christina Loukas. During her four-year NCAA career that took five years due to an Olympic redshirt last year, Loukas has finished just out of the top spot in an event at NCAAs several times. She left no doubt this evening in the three-meter with a crushing performance.

Loukas posted an incredible tally of 437.75 in the event to win Indiana's first three-meter diving title in the history of the program. It is also the third title for IU in diving as Cassandra Cardinell (platform) and Kimiko Hirai (1m) won the previous titles for the Hoosiers.

Houston's Anastasia Pozdniakova, who won the one-meter last night, came up with a second-place tally of 386.10, while IU's Brittany Feldman capped the night for IU Diving with a third-place 366.90.

The overall team title race became even tighter with California (262), Georgia (261.5) and Arizona (258.5) all jockeying for position heading into the final event of the night – the 800-yard free relay. Stanford (183.5) and Auburn (173) continued to be in fourth and fifth.
