COLLEGE STATION, Texas, March 19. THE Arizona Wildcats started the night off right with a pair of American, NCAA and U.S. Open records in the women's 200-yard free relay.

Lara Jackson rocketed to an American, NCAA and U.S. Open record with a time of 21.27 for the leadoff. The swim clipped her standard of 21.33 set during December.

"I don't know what else to say about the records," Jackson said. "I'm thrilled!"

The rest of her team completed the remarkable record with a time of 1:26.20 as Lindsey Kelly (21.75), Justine Schluntz (21.59) and Taylor Baughman (21.59) completed the winning, and record, swim. The effort beat the 1:26.90 set by Arizona last year, and gave the Wildcats their fourth-straight win in the event. The win is the seventh in school history, moving them closer to Texas' NCAA-record nine.

California's Liv Jensen (22.09), Hannah Wilson (21.70), Madison Kennedy (21.54) and Dana Vollmer (21.15) also cleared the previous record with a 1:26.48, while Auburn's Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace, Emile Ewing, Melissa Marik and Caitlin Geary finished third in 1:27.48.

Arizona took the team title lead with 40 points, while California (34), Auburn (32), Stanford (30) and Texas (28) were in the top five.
