USA Swimming Sectionals, Oklahoma City: Distance Free on Display

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, March 5. The first evening of short course yard swimming at the USA Swimming Sectional held in Oklahoma City, Okla., featured distance freestyle events.

Kansas City Blazer Shannon Vreeland walked away with the women's 1000 free title when she hit the wall in 9:57.91.

Meanwhile, Clayton Shaw Park's Daniel Miller beat Kansas City Blazer's Austin Acheson, 9:16.98 to 9:17.86, for the men's 1000 free crown.
