108 WORLD RECORDS in ONE year??????? Quite a few from people we've never even heard of!!!! No disrespect meant, but just how fast would these people be WITHOUT the PERFORMANCE ENHANCING SUITS????????? Just how fast would ANYONE be without these suits??? STOP!!!! ENOUGH!!!
December 21, 2008 Paddles: You are right. The efforts of all swimmers is now undervalued or overvalued by the use of these suits. The suit should not be an issue. Not everyone benefits from these suits in the same way, the effects or benefits vary depending on body shape, percentage of fat, muscle mass etc etc etc
If suits, drugs or other factors twist or distort the result then that is fundamentally wrong.
ALL TRUE SWIMMERS AND FANS OF SWIMMING WANT TO SEE THE BEST SWIMMER WIN.
As you rightly say ENOUGH!!!
Remove the performance enhancing suits and restore the integrity of the sport.
