November 11, 2008 Way to go, Peter! Congratulations! Submitted by: paddles
November 11, 2008 Peter Marshall was TENTH place at our Olympic Trials in June. American men's backstroke is just ridiculous.
A hell of a swim for Peter. Way to go.

November 13, 2008 Think about the depth of American backstroke. Seven guys either sub 53.10 Long Course (Peirsol, Thoman, Grevers, Phelps, Bal) or sub-50 Short Course (Marshall, Lochte). To put that into perspective, the only guys in the rest of the world under 53.1 are Stoeckel and Vyatchanin, and only Tancock and Hurley are under 50.3 Short Course. Simply sick. (And think about what else guys like Phelps and Lochte can do Long Course...) Submitted by: SwimDER94
